Cookies and storage

The small pieces of information the site keeps in your browser. We use only what is needed to run the service. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

• Sign-in session (a cookie on hijrahplan.com): keeps you signed in for up to 30 days. Without it you could not stay signed in. It is strictly necessary.
• Your place in onboarding and your preferences (stored in your browser): so a half-finished step is where you left it and the app remembers choices such as the view you chose. Strictly necessary for those features.
• Offline copy of the app (a service worker, if you install the app): lets the app open faster and without a connection.

Playing a YouTube or Vimeo video can make that company set its own cookies. We use YouTube's privacy-enhanced mode. Our typeface from Fontshare and our flag pictures from flagcdn.com are loaded from their servers, which means they receive your IP address, but they do not set cookies for us.

You can clear cookies and site data in your browser at any time. You will be signed out. If your browser sends Do Not Track, our own usage record stops. More in the Privacy policy.
